Family Fun Night

Kind of funny...we often make a Saturday night our family fun night, but most the time the kids end up falling asleep before anything falls into place. Last night was the exception...we truly had a great Saturday night. Jeff picked the movie "Old Dogs" and it was awesome!! LOVED IT!! We watched it again today. We made Ruebens and of course finished up the night with a big bowl of Ice Cream.

Murphy 16 Weeks Old

Today Murphy is 4 Months Old. We love him so much and he has fit into our lives like he should of been here the whole time. What a smart puppy!! We love you Murphy!!

Funny story...I was down kids for the day...and the ones I had, were napping. I was on the computer and chatting with my mom...I was bored so I snapped some pictures. How funny...I laugh out loud everytime I look at them...just because I know how silly I was being. Either way...it is nice to sometimes have pictures of ME...because I am ALWAYS the one taking them..

Ashley's 8th Birthday - Feb 28th, 2010

Oh our sweet Ashley...Happy 8th Birthday to an adorable little girl. All you wanted was to go to Build-a-Bear with Granny Ru and your mommy. A Birthday "Date Night" with just the three of us. We ran into some road blocks...I was not feeling well at all...Jeff had to work late...we had a snow storm...but through it all you kept this beautiful smile on your face and we ended up having an amazing birthday celebration!! We started our night at Build-a-Bear and the picture below shows how thrilled you were when you found the perfect animal to take home and make your own. After taking our time picking out clothes and dressing your new little friend...Granny Ru suggested we go pick out an outfit from Justice for you...then off to dinner we went. Applebee's of course...but I am not sure you know of anywhere else. Mac & Cheese...that is what you order everytime. It is just the simple shell basic Mac & Cheese...but you say Applebee's makes it better than anywhere else. Ha!! You were too tired to wait for the servers to sing the birthday song to you....so we got the desert and headed out. It was time for bed...lol. Thank you Ashley for being you!! I love you!

February 7th Super Bowl Sunday

This was our Super Bowl Sunday....just laying around the house...enjoying each other. The funniest part of this picture...I had just finished cleaning up the living room and the kids decided, since the living room was all clean...they had the whole area to make a tent. I think this is just proof of a great day...Go Saints!!

The Groundhog Run 10K - January 31st

This was my 1st official run of 2010. I hope for many more this year and was very excited to finish my first 10K in 1 hour 3 minutes. It was a great accomplishment for me and it felt so incredible. The race was on Emma's actual birthday and it was amazing to think, as I was running....that 4 years ago on that day I was in the hospital having Emma. As I crossed the finish line strong...I waved to Emma and wished her a Happy Birthday....I know I have many more races to come!! I am addicted!

Emma's 4th Birthday

Happy birthday to my darling little Emma. We love you so much and are so proud of you. You have an amazing heart and I love that about you!! You were so excited about picking the theme for your birthday this year and could not wait to see your Princess cake. You wore a beautiful tutu and a shirt made just for you with your name and age on it. You were so excited to be a princess for the day...although we all really know it was for the year. Happy 4th birthday to my little princess...may your 4th year be amazing and full of love and hope. I enjoy spending everyday with you and being a part of your every moment!! Love your mommy...

Welcome Home Murphy!

We celebrated our New Year by adding a new puppy to our family. Murphy is a pure black lab and came home to be with his family on January 7th, 2010. He was born Thanksgiving Day November 26th, 2009. We are so excited about the many months of growing and training in the new year.
