2nd Grade Field Trip - Ashley
We started the day with a 100% chance of rain. I took trash bags, rain coats, umbrellas, baggie for the camera, hats etc...you know the rest. No rain!! We were so grateful. It ended up being a cool, breezy overcast day, absolutely perfect for a day at the Zoo. Mrs. Endicott divided the girls into groups and to Ashleys disappointment she was not with her Best Friend, Malisa. It all worked out fine though because her group decided to hang out with us...so she got the best pictures with her best friend!! What a wonderful blessing that I was able to take the day off and spend it with you Ashley Leigh!! Thank you for inviting me and letting me take so many pics!!

Birds of the Day
I am not really sure how this happened to me...but I love feeding the birds. My mom has a wonderful variety of birds at her house. Somehow, I seem to have the standard Missouri birds. This year seems a little different. I have long awaited to have Orioles eating out of my feeders and it seems I have found success!! I wanted to post some of the birds that I have seen so far today at the house!

Mothers Day 2010
I loved today!! What a wonderful Mothers Day! The day started with an extra hour of sleep and getting out of bed to the smell of my coffee already brewed and yummy biscuits and gravy and REAL bacon!! What a terrific way to start the day. My dad showed up shortly after to take the van to get new tires and that of course was a terrific blessing. The girls and hubby and I headed out to find my Mother Day surprise...a new Bird Bath!! After many unsuccessful stops at many different stores we threw in the towel until after Sarahs Basketball game. Sarah played a really great game, just for me of course!!...lol. Afterwards, we headed out to my all time favorite place, Suburban Lawn and Garden. Hit the jackpot!! Found the perfect bird bath and a new honorary frog to place in the middle. Then of course...I took it for all I could and asked for just one more hanging basket!! What a terrific day! As a matter of fact, as I type this, I looked out and there is a finch drinking water out of it right now!! Thank you Jeff for making this Mothers Day wonderful for me. Thank you to my beautiful precious children for making it so wonderful to be a mother! Thank you to my Momma for being so wonderful!! I love you mom!!
Now that I look back...I did not get a picture with all my girls. It was late when we got home and Ashley was the person taking the picture of me and the bird bath and Emma jumped in there...Sarah was finishing up a Art project for school inside. :o(

JDRF Dream Gala 2010
This night was all about the kids and finding a cure for Juvenile Diabetes. Raising over 1 million dollars, for the cause, with a silent auction before dinner and a live auction during dinner. Many items, trips went for over $20,000.00...but my favorite was a cute little yellow lab puppy that brought $7000.00. With all the above said...I have to say...this was an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G date night for my hubby and I. I was able to get all fancy dressed up...Jeff wore a suit and we spent the night in each others arms. Drinking, talking, meeting new friends and dancing to end the night. I got to meet Jerad Allen and Herm Edwards and I got to sit right by Jerad at dinner....seriously. Aaron Vile is the General Manager for Van Chevrolet and his wife Amy and I hit it off something crazy...we are new B/F/F..lol. The guys would always say that everytime we laughed and talked. As I think back on this night...this weekend left me feeling totally in love with my husband. Our time alone is so far and few between that sometimes it is a wonderful reminder when a night leaves you feeling that way. We laughed, stayed close...talked..and the best..DANCED!! I love dancing with this man..he is so much fun!! I worried when I started this post, that it would end up sounding like this night was all about me, when that is so far from the truth. Way to go JDRF...way to go to all the people who donated and came out to raise money for such an important cause. Thank you Jeffrey...for loving me and making sure I know that I am the most important thing in your life..including me in every area and making our family your top priority.

It's Bubble Time
It's Bubble time...Bubble Time....bubble bubble Bubble time...Bubble Time. If you try really hard you can make that into a really cool jingle. lol:o) Emma loves her bubbles and to be dressed up in her Princess Dress and barefoot, blowing bubbles in the driveway...pretty much is the perfect description of our daughter!! Good Ol' Fashion Spring time fun!

Worth Harley Davidson - Week before opening
The new Worth Harley Davidson store has one week until the doors will be open. They have alot of work to do and to see the store the weekend before, it seems impossible. Jeff is in charge of setting up the computers and making sure all of them are up and running and everything is good to go for the first day. We went to the store Sunday to do a computer count and organize a little. I am just in awe of what is about to take place and am really looking forward to seeing it all unfold! This building is truly amazing...AMAZING! The first picture is Jeffs new Office. There is another picture of all the computers that were left in the building that Jeff has to basically strip and load all of the Worth stuff onto. Then the other picture is of Jeff's Server Room....whoa!!

Sarahs 4th Grade Arbor Day Tree
The trees were delivered early to the school...so the kids were excited to bring them home to plant. Sarah was lucky enough to get a Dogwood Tree. She was excited to plant it at her Grandparents field...or maybe her dads house, but after sitting around on the counter for several days trying to keep the roots moist I decided to go ahead and plant it...try and nurse it back to health. It was not looking the best so I am hoping with a little tender love and care, we can help it grow!! I am excited to see what results we get!! One of my babysitting parents told me that they planted a free arbor day tree in third grade and it is huge at her parents house...so that helped the final decision to get it in the ground right away!!
